Why the full model matters
SM-S928B and SM-S928U look similar, but their firmware is not interchangeable. The full suffix defines hardware and market scope.
1. Check system settings
Open Settings → About phone and record the complete SM- model code.
2. Check the box or device label
If the phone will not boot, inspect the original box, SIM tray area or device label for Model.
3. Verify in Download Mode
Repair technicians can verify product name, Binary and current firmware identifiers in Download Mode.

Similar names do not mean compatibility; full model, CSC and Binary must match.
